„Pelican“ is a performance offered by a group of young artists from Gliwice, Poland. The name of the group, „Teatr A“, refers to „Anamnesis“, which means, the Church‘s faithful memory of her bridegroom, Jesus. The troupe‘s goal is to present the richness of the biblical texts and Christian anthropology through drama.

„Teatr A“ consists of young Catholics who have been educated in theatrical science, stage design, music and choreography. Two members have finished the study of theology.

„Pelican“ is their tenth play with a religious theme. Mariusz Kozubek, the Director of the theater, has written the screenplay.

A performance of „Pelican“ involves 30 people.
